About Devashish Music – Live Singer in India
I'm Devashish Pamnani, a live singer, performer and the founder of Devashish Music. What started as one person and a guitar has grown into a live music platform that brings singers, musicians and full bands to weddings, corporate events, college fests, private celebrations and destination events across India. Over the years, I've performed at more than 1,000 live shows and 2,000 online concerts, and every one of them has shaped how Devashish Music approaches live music today.
My Journey
How Devashish Music Came Together
I began as a solo live singer, performing wherever there was a stage — small gatherings, private events, celebrations of every size. Those early shows taught me most of what I still rely on today: how to read an audience, how to hold a room with just a voice and a guitar, and how to adjust on the spot when a set list needs to change mid-performance.
As the requests grew and the kind of events I was being asked to perform at became more varied — weddings needing a full band, corporate evenings needing something more polished, college fests needing high energy — I realised one voice and one guitar couldn't cover everything clients needed.
That's how Devashish Music came together. Instead of staying a one-person act, I built a platform that brings together singers and musicians I trust, so that whatever the event calls for — a solo performance, an acoustic duo, or a full live band — there's a lineup ready for it. I'm still the person clients speak to when they reach out, and performing live is still the part of this work I care about most.

Across more than 1,000 live performances and 2,000 online concerts, I've had the chance to perform for all kinds of audiences and occasions across India. That experience shapes how Devashish Music approaches every event — reading a room, adjusting a set list on the spot, and knowing what will actually work for the people in front of us rather than following a fixed script.
Musically, the repertoire spans Bollywood, Hindi and English songs, retro classics, romantic numbers, Sufi music, pop and contemporary tracks. Every event has its own mix — a wedding sangeet calls for something different than a corporate cocktail hour, and a college fest calls for something different again — and building the right set list for each one is something I still enjoy doing personally, rather than handing it off to a template.

Devashish Pamnani
I'm Devashish Pamnani, founder of Devashish Music and a professional live singer and performer. This isn't a business I built and stepped back from — I'm still performing, still involved in every part of how Devashish Music runs, and still the person you'll likely speak to when you reach out.
I'm also the founder of Urban Raaga, a live singer and music platform serving Bangalore (Bengaluru). Through Urban Raaga, I work with singers and musicians for weddings, corporate events, private celebrations and other live events across Bangalore. It runs alongside Devashish Music, built on the same idea of matching the right live music setup to the right event — just with a dedicated focus on the Bangalore market.

For me, live music isn't just about getting through a set list. It's about reading the room — understanding what an audience needs at that moment, whether that's something quiet and intimate or something that gets everyone on their feet. Every event has its own mood, and choosing the right music for that mood matters more than sticking to a fixed plan.
I take performing seriously — showing up prepared, treating every event with the same professionalism whether it's an intimate gathering or a large wedding — but I also genuinely love this work. That combination is what I try to bring to every performance.
